This latest report provides insight into the demographic and debt information of new clients who first received debt advice in November 2024. It also includes the latest insights on our website traffic trends

Our key findings from November 2024:

  • The emergency funding webpage remains as the most viewed debt information page in November 2024 with 27,929 views, which is 39% higher than a year ago (November 2023 = 20,035), and 8% higher than the previous calendar month (October 2024 = 25,797)
  • In November 2024, the self-employed income calculator webpage had 12,411 views, which is 55% higher than November 2023 (8,017)
  • The proportion of clients with mortgage arrears, among those with a responsibility for paying this bill, has increased from 17% in November 2023 to 19% in November 2024
  • In November 2024, over one in seven (15%) clients were living with family which is two percentage points higher than November 2023 (13%), and one percentage point higher than October 2024 (14%)
  • The proportion of clients who are single with no children has increased by three percentage points, from 39% in November 2023 to 42% in November 2024
