FAQs

We might hold payments to some of your creditors for a number of reasons:

  • The account number is incorrect
  • The creditor has told us that they are no longer dealing with the account

We'll have written to you about this to request more information. Once you've given this to us we can send your payment to the correct creditor.

If we've been informed that a debt has been passed to another company, we'll have changed the payments on your behalf. We'll also have sent the new creditor a copy of your payment proposal.

Statements are posted around the 25th of each month and should be with you by the end of the month.

Online statements are available to view from the 25th of the month.

The balances on your statement from us are estimated. We base them on the balance you told us was outstanding at the start of your plan, and any updates provided by you or your creditors since then.

It's important to keep in touch with your creditors and get up to date balances on a regular basis. This helps you to stay in control of your plan and makes sure that we're giving you the right advice

The payments to date column shows what you've paid to your current creditors only.

When a debt is passed to another company, the previous creditor becomes inactive on our records as payments made to that creditor stop. Your statement only shows active creditors, and the payments made to them.
