Debt Awareness Week 24-30 March

Debt Awareness Week 2025. Lets break debt’s stigma, together.

What is Debt Awareness Week?

For over 11 years, Debt Awareness Week has shone a spotlight on the challenges of problem debt, while aiming to reduce the stigma and shame that often prevent people from seeking help.

We are dedicated to breaking down the barriers that stop people from accessing support by offering free online debt advice and support to those in need.

We understand that debt affects people from all walks of life. While someone's situation may seem normal on the outside, many are silently dealing with financial hardship. In fact, half of those facing financial difficulties told us* that stigma was a key factor in them not getting the help they need earlier.

That's why, this Debt Awareness Week, we want to break that barrier, encouraging more people to seek the support they deserve without fear or shame.
