If you’ve got any grown up children living with you, you could ask them to contribute towards the cost of running the home.

Check your tax band

Make sure that you're paying the right amount of tax. Check your tax code and make sure that you’re claiming any tax credits you’re entitled to. HM Revenue and Customs can check this for you.
